Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) and Security Token Offerings (STOs) are emerging forms of fundraising for cryptocurrency startups. IEOs are an alternative to ICOs that allow a cryptocurrency exchange to distribute a new coin/token to investors. STOs allow companies use the blockchain to issue a token that is backed by securities (usually assets like stocks or bonds) and may give holders certain priveleges or rights within a given company. ICO's (initial coin offerings) are a method of distributing a coin or token while raising capital for the cryptocurrency project in the process. 

There are many ways to run nodes and help secure blockchains. Many of these - such as mining, staking, and masternodes - allow the user to earn cryptocurrency passively for helping to validate transactions on a given blockchain network. Discuss these processes here.
